Cover the bowl where the dough is with some cloths and let it rest for about 2 hours.
After that amount of time you'll see that your dough has leavened. Take it out from the bowl and flatten it using a rolling pin. Try to give it a rectangular shape. It needs to be about 5mm (0.19 inches) thick. |
Step 4Place both your ham and cheese on the dough and roll it, starting from the longest side of the rectangle.
Make sure that the roll is not too tight. |
Step 5Divide your roll in half using a knife, then cut the 2 parts in half again, and again, to obtain a total of 8 equal pieces.
Now put parchment paper or oil in your pan and place your dough pieces in it. The sides where you can see the ham and cheese must be frontal now. Make sure that they are not too close to each other because they'll still rise. Let these sections rest for other 45 minutes, always keeping the pan covered. |
Step 6When your dough roses have finally leaved some more, spread some milk over the top.
Bake at 180°C (350F) for about 35 minutes. Your rose bouquet is warm and ready to be eaten. Doesn't it look tasty?
